I´m so glad with this year's semester. I have 3 classes which are Assessment, Group Therapy and Family Therapy and so far the work has not been overload which makes a huge difference.
Mom and dad are coming to visit from Iceland this weekend and I can't wait to see them. Dad just had my brother buy him an RV and I'm sure he just can't wait to see it and try it out. Mom and dad plan to travel the US in it after my dad retires in January. I'm so lucky to have parents that can travel that often and come to visit us. When they come, me and hubby get a date night and we can't wait and it is also great that Odinn really gets to know them since they are living with use for a week at a time when they come.
Odinn had picture day at daycare today so he had to go to daycare early. Normally he doesn't go till 2pm and is there till 5:30 but today he is going to be there from 10am till 5:30. I was there for his picture and it went great. He smiled and everything. Looking forward to getting them and be able to send them to friends and family.
Me and Hubby are going to take advantage of him going to daycare yearly today and going to go out for lunch with out having to run after an 18 month old. Maybe even meet with friends and just be adults!
I'm also using the time to study and update my blog. I should go upstairs and get to cleaning up the guestbedroom so that mom and dad can stay there and we can easily convert it to a room for my little man. He really needs his own room before this baby arrives. I don't think it would be a good idea to have him and a new born in our room even though there is room.
The Rumba has been working great for me. It's great to be able to do dishes and dust while the floor is being vacuumed for you. All I need now is a Scuba to clean my floors and then I will be set.

Hopefully illness has left us for now.
We have been ill as a family for the last 3 weeks and it has been hard. We had been planing to do so much in the yard and around the house the last few weekends.
Some of the projects that we need to finish before baby boy arrives in January. We need to finish the walls in the bathroom and paint, paint the entryway, paint the bedroom, get guest bedroom cleaned up and changed into Odinn's bedroom, finish getting the garden set up for the winter, and setting up the store inventory in the computer room.
I finally got half of the seeds I needed to get in the ground, in the ground. So I got lettuce, spinach, carrots, peas, parsnip, and rutabaga in the ground. I need to get garlic, onion and some other things in the ground.
I've been working on a few projects now:

I'm working on that for my nephew but man the work is crazy.

I made those for my neighbor's little girl Maya.

I made that for fun one day and thought I was going to give it as a gift but Odinn rubbed blue marker all over it so it ended up being his.

I'm making this shawl for myself. It's so soft.

I'm making this for the new baby. It's a turtle butt wool soaker.

Here is a little hat for the ride home from the hospital.
That's it for now.

Sick This Weekend.
I had planed to plant my fall garden this weekend but ended up sick on the couch. I did order some cool seeds from burpee.com and looking forward to planting them when I´m feeling better.
I did get some knitting done and I finished the 2 projects I was making for a friend and I need to take a pic of them and give them so that I can post pics of them here.
My poor son had to spend the weekend in the house because his parents were not feeling well. Now he has started feeling bad. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow and we can spend some time outside.
We had friends over on Friday night for an order in of P.F. Changes and some home made wine, mead (that´s honey wine), and beer. We had a great time catching up and DS could just go to bed when it was his bed time. It was a great night that was cheaper and less stressful than going out to eat. It makes such a difference not having to pay for drinks and a tip.

About to plant my fall garden.
So my summer garden got left out in the heat of the summer and morning sickness and tiredness of being pregnant. Now I´m in the second trimester and felling so much better. We found out that I am pregnant with a boy. Yay! Two boys close in age. Fun times.
Anyway, this weekend will be spent cleaning up the summer garden and planting my fall garden so that we can have fresh salads, potatoes, peas and in the spring some leek, onion, and garlic.
I have a few projects on the knitting needles as well. 2 are gifts so I will not be showing them here till I´m done. I´m also working on a shrug for me. The only thing I can make for myself right now that I can use while pregnant and when I´m not. We will see how it goes. Now that I know that I am having a boy I want to knit lots of little boy clothes that I didn´t get to making for my older son.
Fall classes have started and this semester I´m taking assessment, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy. Then this January when this baby is do I will start my year leave from grad school. I´m going to enjoy being with my children and doing the best that I can for them and my husband.
On another note, I got my birthday present from dear husband early this year and it was a rumba vacuum. It is the best gift he could have given me. My floors are so clean now of cat hair and dust and cheerios. You know the normal things that end up on the floor when you have a 17 month old. But who would have thought that you can have a robot clean your floors for you. Just turn it on and do something else . Or do nothing. It´s like having someone come in and clean for you.
I also started using the pledge multi surface and I clean so much faster. All I need to clean is my roomba and the pledge multi surface and I have the room clean in no time.
Oh, one more thing that I am taking on since I will not be in school this up coming year is me and a friend are starting a podcast. It will cover the normal day to day life of a modern eco-conscious mom and things that are going on in the world. It will mostly be me and a mom hanging out, her drinking wine and talking and me not drinking wine but probably indulging on some really good tea or a new gourmet chocolate.
