Nutritious Cookies!

This Tuesday we are doing nutritious cookies.

I make these when I really want chocolate chip cookies but don´t just what sugar and fat
Here is the recipe for my chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter, almond butter cookies.

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup almond butter (optional)
1 tesp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tesp salt
1/2 tesp baking powder
1/2 tesp baking soda
1.5 cups oatmeal
1/3 cup spelt (if you don't have spelt use whole wheat flour)
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup flax seed
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips.

Blend everything together in that order. Use a 1.5 inch ice cream scoop to put the dough on the parchment paper 2 inches apart. Bake for 12.5 min in an oven at 350°F. They are best when they are warm with a big glass of milk but are also very good left over.
